Got the air ticket and flight to CA loong long time ago. Last week just heard that I need to get 2 quotation from from 2 travel-agency, choose the cheaper... etc... more or less the SAF thingy. Now got to back date and tryong to look for another more expensive flight.
I didn't do it in the first place? *sigh* of course I heard of such thing, so I asked what to do from a PhD student. All I got is, "Just look for your own agency, book yourself and claim later." I happily looked for one myself, choose SIA, instead of northwest airlines. SIA is under promotion and it's already the next cheapest other than NW.
I should beware of people, who answer politically correct.

Hmm... Was having lunch at HKU canteen. Had my lunch and we were starting to head back to my lab. Seen that someone two tables from mine, looks like cecillia cheung. I told three others (guys) and they all said they didn't notice it. Finally, a female friend notice it, at leave she proved nothing wrong with my eyes.

Recently, we received a report from one of our residents saying that some users were using the public computers located in Room P1-04 to download and view pornographic materials. Upon receiving the report, all the computers in Room P1-04 were re-formatted.
Originally, viewing pornographic materials is not a serious problem to all of you as you are all mature adults; however, using public facilities to view such materials and causing annoyance to other users is a serious problem. Users caught maybe charged for sexual harassment and sexual harassment is a criminal offense.
Residents are encouraged to report to the office any suspicious person using the public computers to download such materials in the future. In order not to get yourselves into trouble, always think carefully before you act.

This evening, it had a strong wind, but not raining. I thought, "well, I still got it eat right? and I'm too sick of that canteen food, I must go out." So I went down to hill, went to the nearest macdonald, finished fast and went back to my room. When I was walking back to HKU, I need to walk over a bridge to get to the car park. I first experience the power of wind storm. When I was walking along the wind, the wind was pushing me to go forward. When I was walking against a wind, I can't move without extra effort. It was just a cool experience, but it may be dangerous.
Observatory annouce the Strong wind signal 8, if it still remain tomorrow, no one comes to school and I'll need to find things to do. It'll be so boring in my room, in front of the computer.

Situation at HKU has not improved. And I have to prepare for my trip next month. No time to think of solution of the problem that I always tried to solve.
When I was on the way back to HKU, I was so really silly. The stupidest thing I ever did. I gave a girl $500 by signning up her insurrance policy. She said she had no one signed up for her today. I was doing that to help her to get the "record". But I had to pay the first 2 months premiums of the policy, and withdraw within 14 days. She even prepared for me the withdraw application form. If I ever have to another policy, I'll approach my friend.

Was at home this weekend. Went back home on a friday night, first time that I have long weekend in this year. Fif some surfing with the still--prblemetic dice-style PC. Rearrange those CD I packed back in Jurong west, and I found the NUS archive CD. The CD I burned before i left. I realised that I tried to save the mails in the first year. Then while the emails get more and more, I started to delete rght after I red it. So, it's unfortunate that I deleted away the Mr BLOW and his ANGEL's emails.
But one thing brings me back my memory. Someone was using cooker??@hotmai.com and that someone is using a different hotmail address. I thought I can remember clear about the past, but I can't even recall having this email address. *sigh* so much changed between now and cooker??@hotmai.com.

Sent out the mail early in the moning. Basically I said that I'm useless and I can't solved that problem after idling for 4 months. Then the whole day no reply from anyone. then at night just before i sleep the prof replied this,
I'll be away for conferences starting next Thursday for about 4 weeks and there are meetings lining up before my departure. It is unlikely that I can spare some time for any meaningful discussion about the problem during these few days. Can I suggest that we shall meet after my return in August? In the mean time, you might like to consider some special cases that this problem can be solved more efficiently. BTW, you have to prepare your talk for the coming conference. I don't think that I've time to go through your presentation, but you can do that with xxx or xxx, if they are available. I hope that you can do a good job with your presentation

Came to the lab late in the afternoon. Someone told me that one commit suiside in that building. He/she jump off from the highest floor of the building. I walk pass that place this morning, but I didn't find that place is block. Maybe it's already finish and cleared up. Until now I do not know the identity of that person.

Spent the whole of today and yesterday at home fixing the PC (only casing/motherboard/cpu are new). I found it necessary to get a smaller one (in size) because of space problem at home. finally now the pc can rest on the table and not stand on the floor. But i still havn't got the PC running, with OS. But the look of the PC is... well... not bad huh?

Yah.... when I was getting the SD-card for my mum, I looked around the shop while that guy got to rush to storeroom to get the card for me. Then the camera that caught my attention is the pentax optio S. And somemore it's compatible with the card I bought!

I'm getting a digital cam. To choose between Canon Powershot A-70 or Nikon CoolPix 3100. Saw the latter priced at SGD569 with tripod, battery charger, card reader, SGD400 worth of digital photo developing within a year. Any comments? MR BLOW

I wake up early in the morning and I found myself have pain in my back when i tried to get up. The pain is located directly on my back , same level as my heart. Because of that, I couldn't move my back, i couldn't move swing my arm and I could take deep breath. I eventual get off the bed, by slowly crawling my body off the bed. And I book for appointment with doctor (since it's free). I went to see doctor, he gave me some pain killer and ask me go across for physiotherapy. I felt a bit surprised, but i still went. The physiotherapisy was also abit surprised to see me here, after knowing what cause the back pain. But she still did a round of electro-xxxxx, (i.e. putting 3 plastic pieces at the back). But nevertheless, she said I need more exercise and use computer too much.
Oh, when i lied on the examination bed, it reminded me of movie golden chicken (andy lau). There was a hole, and you put your head over the hole so you can breathe.

I went for a semina this afternoon. Thru out the seminar, I did a CCL, sneezing like hell and I eventually move to th front row, to avoid people. when the talk is over, I rushed to toilet, even it's my first time I saw my eyes *that* red. I hide in my room after that.

Do you know where al** is now? I'm sure everyone, especially my long-lost-friend Pink Otopus, would like to know. This evening, I went to my dept pantry and heat up instant porridge as my dinner. It took at least 8 minutes to heat up the porridge in the oven. So I took a seat on the sofa and I scanned through some newsletter from other university (at the buttom left of first page).
