An unexpected discovery

Since I messed up my laptop, I reinstalled winxp but haven't got time to install the linux portion. Today, I install the Mandrake 9.2 (first time that I burn a Mandrake CD on CDR, no more CDRW). Before that I also re-positioned and re-wired the wireless airstation/router and calbe modem, so that I can get to use wireless lan. The Mandrake 9.2 installation is (*expectedly*) easy. I use KDE and I try to install software updates using Automatic Update program. *okay*, it went smoothly too, until now it's running for about a few hours. Then I tried to get my wireless lan to work (previously untested). So I was google-searching for any information..... after searching for 15min and no avail, I decided that I don't have to try. I don't even realised that there have been NO ETHERNET CABLE pluggin! All downloading, browsing the web are via the wireless port. Cool, Mandrake knows everything and *auto-magically* does everything for me, without me knowing.

I'm extremely impressed.
