The assignment (the one due tomorrow) is more or less finished, although I know that given more time I can think better. I'm now concentrating on the one due next week, hopefully I can do something on the quiz as well. After 2 days of google-searching, I find that the question that was actually taught in one of the graduate course and the course is especially catered for the topic of that this assignment. So since there are 3 assignment for this course, are we expected to study 3 oversea graduate courses in order to know everything in the course?

Yesterday was the last lecture before the quiz, but I was not very comfortable with the course. Yesterday then the lecturer started finishing the topic on the assignment, talking about the questions. When he came to the last question, he didn't say anything, and just said, "it's just simple application of graph theory". But aren't most complicated theroems need only simple application of graph theory? Are people, who can't find the paper or do google-searching, expected to come out with the idea out of the blue?
