Oh, today, I got unexpected greetings from jm and xPG, one through ICQ msg, the other by ecards, they are all unexpected. But I prefer that it is forgotten. It's unexpected too that I still work on a sat morning. Besides that i don't think who else bother to remember (note, it's to `remember', not to get `reminded').

I got to know about this article ``How NOT to go about a programming assignment'' through slashdot. I click through the link, but can't get to the website after awhile. I was reminded of the slashdot effect. To read further to confirm that the site is slashdotted. Then I carry on and think, will I publish anything on slashdot (in my life) that is `honoured' enough to get this slashdot effect?

I'm frustrated, (well for nothing) maybe I'm frustrated for myself. Maybe I don't find myself any use in this current position. So what should I do to make myself feeling better? Keep one working on what I'm doing will only make me more and more depressed...

I just thought of some trivia on me in all this years. The longest I stayed in a school in my first primary school: from pri 1 to pri 4, 4 years. The next longest period is the days in NUS, 3 and a half years. other than these, I normally stayed in schools for just 3 months to 2 years 3 months. I never realise that before.

Read that the big guy in blogger.com is leaving google in his blog at http://www.evhead.com/ (posting on "Next?"). I somehow link it like the netscape founder sold netscape to AOL. Things in blogger, as I can imagine, will not be in control like the way it was. Maybe drastic change will happen to blogger, just like what google has changed since its IPO.

will never mix well after this incident on the bank safe boxes. It's indeed ridiculous that your safe box kept in bank will be destroyed out of nothing. Will DBS survive this incident in HK?

And everyone seems to trying to get it down and over with. The presentation seemed extremely short, as if everyone knows what I'm talking. Suprisingly, no one asked for details, which I prepared additional powerpoint slide, and transparencies (I spent so much time running up and down the laser colour printer!). Everyone just wants it donw as quickly as possible, it's done and finished off in less than an hour. Here goes my examiniation fee: HK$1000.
But something really amazed me: Dr Supt didn't even turn up! What wrong with that. Is it that my time is not worth of him to even take an hour to turn up and show people that he is (or was) still the sec. supt? Why not just tell me on face?

Thursday, morning 9:30am!!!
How am I going to wake up and reach campus so early? I haven't prepared my slides, my powerpoint, and myself? Clinical education taught me to (1) prepare environment, (2) prepare patient and (3) prepare yourself. Out of all three. I've done none to them. So that's to say, I'm not prepared.
