Hello Bugzilla...

Is there a bug? How do I file a bug for Mozilla? background: Three newsgroup servers, A, B and C. They both have the group "bt.music.mp3", but they don't exchange the news postings, i.e. they have their own "forum".
problem: When I post in server A, the posting didn't appear in server A's postings. Instead, it appears in server B and C. A strange problem.

Total eclipse of my eyes...

Have been going around with LHW and FNg for 2 days, effectively 2 nights and one full day. I'm complete exhausted. It's the first time that I made myself sleep only 5 hours for leisure activities.

  1. Met for late dinner... followed by supper, I reached home at 1am at the Sat night. Did not go for bath and sleep straight ahead
  2. Woke up at 6:00am for bath, and leave at 6:30am for the morning tea session with them. the first time in these xxxx years.
  3. started the day tour, went to places, ***** bay,.... ***** harbour.... Then I got reminded that I never visit Aberdeen before. Took some pictures of Aberdeen and Ocean Park.
  4. LHW is such a poor thing, whenever he walks, he got to stop for awhile for FNg, this guy always take pictures along the way. After taking the pictures, he has to ensure that the picutre is fine, if not re-take. Wasted 30% of the day ...

  • The "Sam-Ban"... the floating homes in Aberdeen.

  • The view of the Aberdeen from the sam-ban.

  • the view of Aberdeen from the ocean park.

    A surprised discovery...

Went to a not-so-popular CD shop in a not-so-popular shopping mall, selling those not-so-cheap CDs and DVDs. I was surprised to find a Faye Wong DVD recording of her Japen concert live. I was with my friend and I only spent about 15 minutes and I only bought one DVD for only HK$18.

    Two Stories

    Story (1)

A mice hunts for cheese in a house. However, when the mice goes cheese hunting, it's not always successful, sometimes it got chases away, if not caught. But the mice still carries on hunting for cheese even though the hunting is not always successful. Why? because the mice knows that when you go for hunting, it's not always sucessful, but if you don't go and search for the cheese, you can never get one. So, should you go out and search for the cheese? Or, should you rather wait inside the cage, waiting for the people to feed you? You decide.

    Story (2)

About a month ago, I tried to compose a Chinese SMS, using my limited Chinese input skill. If I'm not wrong, a phone can send at most 80 characters. After much effort, I managed to squeeze my message into a single SMS, such that the phone doesn't complain, then I sent it.

Then I few days ago, I sent another SMS, and I found that this Chinese SMS never got sent (because the icon of the SMS doesn't show that the SMS is sent, later further confirmed thru phone call). Since I spent so much time writing the message, I decided to sent again, with some editting. I threw away things that are not relavent anymore, and the edited message got sent thru, (the original message never got sent because it was accepted by the telco, because of the message length). This time round, the SMS got sent, because it was short. It's just an SMS of 13 characters, cut from 79 characters.

    Moral of the story?
Sometimes, when the time factor matters, it is useless to re-do it, because everything will be different. Just like this SMS of 79 characters, got cut down to only 13 characters, the situation is never be the same again.

The 4th Night (2nd last night)

The rundown is just like before, no BIG change. I was still hoping to see they sing songs during the rehersal, but no in the previous nights. I was a bit disappointed, so is it that I asked too much?

But nevertheless, I already have the memories of the rehersal, it's lot better than the others.

``I already gave my best, I have no regrets at all.''

    Beginning and the End

Life is about cycle... Just when you thot everythig is over... the situation has a new lead... what/where does this lead to? What do I need to sacrifice if I follow this lead? or should I now follow at all? Or should I just let Fate decide for me? *puzzled*

2nd night concert, sat the 3rd row, it's damn bloddy near. Didn't get to shake her hand, but only that guy. Concert is still short as the 1st night.

    [HK Philharmonic Orchestra] Live recording

    at http://nlho.homeip.net:8080

    1. At Least These Is You.mp3 --- Zhi Shou Hai You Ni classic, recording not very clear though
    2. Cry.mp3 --- XN's favourite with a different arrangement, but may not be clear
    3. Longest Waiting.mp3 --- A sentimental song, NEVER heard before live, sound quality OK
    4. No solution.mp3 --- Cantonese song, with great performance.
I realised that it's better not to face the mic to loud-speaker directly. Tonite should have a better recording, seating nearer.

    Stage

I've been to the rehersal, and actually, the left and right frame are just controled by MS PowerPoint, only pictures or some simple animations are displayed as slide show, but effect was quite OK.

    Am I crazy?

I could imagine myself doing this... you know what, I went for the concert rehersal. After that rehersal, I even waited for an hours under the strong and cool wind just to wave.!!!

anyway, that's considered the craziest thing I ever did.

The concert is cosidered boring, for people who dun know them. =(

This is the back stage of the concert, to the left goes to the stage of the concert.

Outside the back stage, photo is taken in the car park. This is the place where the fans shout and chase after the stars.

Volvo is the sponsor of the concert, a dark green Volve drove near to the entrance of the back stage, picking up someone.

Got a new portable USB device

Since I'm starting to write my thesis, it's a good idea to take the later revision of thesis on the go. A portable USB storage device is a good solution. Got a USB flash disk (256mb) yesterday. It can also double up as MP3 player, so I can bring along when I go to gym.

(may need to refresh to see the images)
