Had been doing quite a few things these days... Need to makeup the assignment suggested solution by this week, since it's requested to put up today and next week is the quiz. Here is another example that things need to be done because people take them for granted. Nobody ever mentioned that suggested solution will be given, and they ask for it, since we did it before. But why did we put up the 1st suggested solution? Because it's been done all along. Apart from that suggested solution, I've taken over a pile of submitted assignment, 93 in total, 8 questions. I scan through it, on average answer of one question is like 1/2 page long, some even wrote 4 page for only ONE question. *faint*.

(cont) other than that, I've been implementating some program that people just want to see whether there's improvement. I debugged for almost a week. In the end I just report some numbers, and replied with a 'thanks'

Yesterday went for the "Challenging 12 Hours" for the 2nd year, and I think it would be my last year. For the first half of the race, it was quite OK, althrough the is more tough. But surprisingly, I break my last year record, from 10hr 34 min to 9 hr 10min.

To people surrounding me, I think 9 hr is quite a remarkable result. And I decide that I'll let this be a memorable event at this point in time.

I decided that I should not stay in the lab until mid-night everyday. I move back to my room to work. Tonite I got to debug a program, a program that's changed so many times that it DOES NOT work the way it did. But I didn't recall the nightmare that using my laptop as a terminal to dept. The SSH session breaks every 15 minutes. It's must not be the case! It's just 200 metres apart, and the connection is this lousy!!! Must be that firewall fault. I decide that I do it tomorrow morning.

seems that no one remembers about tomorrow. Right, it's not worth for anyone to remember, Really.

Mental Block in my Brain

I suffer from mental block when I tried to program. I was asked to code some extention of my last code. But the last code is just a quite heck. Everything was created in the mind that it WOULD NOT be re-used. Just imagine now I got to recall what was I thinking... oh... it's a nightmare. I can't be thinking clear in the night, I'd better have a early night.

Another Hiking Practice cum BBQ

I missed the 2nd pre-walk again. So I asked my friends for hiking, but not the route later this week. The walk is not challenging, but nice views. It's a natural park built surrounding a reservoir. I took a few photos with the mobile phone. One thing worth mentioning. I found a funny structure, it looks like the barrack in C & C game. It's actually in case that the water level in the reservoir runs too high, water would then go out to the sea. Quite a smart thing to do.

Wow... After last friday's fever, today is the first day I resume my 'training'. There are so many changes. Firstly, the island starts to get cold, as there is a some cold front coming in. The route to the peak with this weather is nice. I dared push hard on myself, I just walking casually. This time, I could go up to the Peak Park, further than the cable car station. Nice weather.

As I walked down from the park, I found my dream condominium. It is high up the hill, with a nice view. New apartment and a grand entrance. Everything is perfect.

Yesterday was really a busy day. But busy NOT for my own things. I need to mark the quiz. Then in the evening, my friend asked me to go to his class (a continual degree course for the working people) in the evening, on Auditing. The reason I need to go is to tape down watever the lecturer talk. The whole of the 3 hrs lecture us just a smoking course, lecturer just show up the word doc and speak whatever written in the document. Of course I didn't idle. It;s a good time for me to do something, to mark the quiz. I managed to finished 2 questions in just 3 hrs. I got to deliver the sound clip after the lecture. It was a busy day.

Then today I'm down with fever. *sigh*

end of month is coming soon. I'm supposed to meet a friend, living outside of HK. I feel abit uneasy. Maybe I'll use the "Challenging 12 Hours" as an excuse.

Suggested a question for coming quiz, but got rejected. Question is, "No pain, no gain", Let P=Pain, G=Gain, then -P => -G, and therefore G => P . Quite an interesting question mah, but the rest are afriad that people just put down "-P and -G", finished.

I finally bought the wireless route at home. I wanted to do my work whenever I want to. The best way to the draw a line between my sis. She will icq/msn as long as shw want... I do my thingns, undisturbed.

Since starting of this week, I begin my trip to the peak. What's different is this round, I go alone and I'm fully equiped with things I need to bring for that 42k hiking. I could walk at my own pace, listen to watever I like. And I can even take pictures along the way, without the need to bring my camera.
