Was having tea break with my friend when I received the call from AL. It really surprised me, but comforting. As I wan't in a good position to talk, I didn't talk so much. Just told him that I'm not motivated. Then the dept finally give us the exam grades, all along I thought we only know pass/fail. I got something that's only better than a fail. 1. I managed to burn more CD as my office PC has a CD writer
2. I managed to get a Sony Clie, tested it capatbility

Everybody will always say tat they dunno wat to write in a progress report. Cause in the asian culture, we are not "programmed" to "boast" our own achievements. So subconsciously, we will never be able to know wat we can write in a progress report. If u read the progress report of an ang mor, they will even write things like "I managed to peel an orange all by myself". Maybe hongaila can start thinking like an ang mor..... I'll need to submit a progress report at the end of this month. Well, it's already 6 months. I didn't know what i write. I just know that what i did is very little. And i haven't written anything of that because of the assignments, meeting... etc. Mr BLOG

My sup always told me, he's not going to emphasise on school work, just a pass will be enough, any assignment just spend at most 2 days to do it. If you can't finish all in 2 days, just turn whatever you have! And yet, the assignment he gives is so damn difficult. Anyway, the weather here's getting warmer and warmer. Now I could just wear a jacket witrh t-shirt. The weather chaaged really fast. I was still wearing the extra warm, extra warm but ultra light outfit, (enough for me to go south-pole any time) a few weeks ago. Without me noticing it, it's now sping time. Thinking back the past winter, I did things I wouldn't have imagined last time. That's the good thing of having 4 seasons, when it's time for you to change your closthes, it's time for you to think back what the things happened in the past few months. You would plan what you are trying to achieve in the next season. But now, I seriously do not know what I'm going to do, neither I'm not going to plan for it, even for the next season. Got this email from my NS friend, complaining on my MO the late time. Hi all, So I'm sick and went to see a doctor at Clementi Polyclinic after work, the closest night clinic to Bt. Timah & after waiting for almost an hour it was my turn to see the doctor and guess who it was? None other than our dear MO Dr. Daniel Chxx...!!! I almost choked on my phlegm...ha ha Anyway he remembered me, and asked 'if I was one of his medics"? He's lost weight, but still as ku niang as before... cannot stand him! We were talking about what he's doing at the night clinic (just helping out, close to where he lives) and his reservist battallion is 621 so if you can stay away coz' Choon Hwee was posted there as well.....eeeee! Wait I go back must call him Sgt.!! :-( Of course Daniel Chxx still got a CB mouth, comment on me living in a private condo and coming to a polyclinic to "clog up the system".... wah, cannot stand him! Was reading the book Tuesday with Morrie. I first know of this book from the newspaper. After I ordered from the local book store, it took them another 3 weeks to deliver to my room via DHL. Alwys wanted to write this down, but eitehr I forget or I got no mood to post. You know, over here the society activities are damn serious. When they go for meeting or some thing, the exco same to wear formal clothes, black pants, shoes; shirt with a common colour. Just the last friday, I saw people of engineering club holding their AGM at a room near to a pantry. Then from friday even to sat. whenever I went to fill up my water bottle, I always see them talking. nonstop. All the way up til sat around 8pm. Then they started packing things up. Oh. My god, they have the AGM as long as 24 hrs! My friend told me, this kinda meeting as become as long as 3 days. Towards the end, audience will just talk anything they like, not neccessarily related to the meeting, they just ask for the sake of asking. And some even taped down the video and put it up. Mr BLOG

This weekend, I didn't go back home. I'm trying to ctach up for everything. Lately I finally realise that research equates 'loneliness'. You need to isolate yourself, in a oom with nobody, forget everything surrounding yourself in order to produce some decent thing. Mr BLOG

These 2 days, I'm trying to code some standard iimplementation out. Dun expect that when it's standard implementation, it would be easy. It's totally beyond one can imagine. You just can't map the thing you are coding to a concrete thing in life. The data structure is something that cannot does not exist within our imagination. I really had a hard time coding and debugging. Can say now its about 70% finsihed, with only one simple test case. Mr BLOG

Have been in PRC for this CNY. The trip can be summarised as just Lunch, big2 and mahjong and Dinner, lunch.....dinner... lunch. There was fireworks near my house also. But I just found it the same for every fireworks. The return trip is a terrible thing. I was stuck in a place, 10 metres in width, 50 metres in length, all jammed with people's heads, before i can pass the immigration. It was an eye-opener for me. Mr BLOG
