Just to highlight some facts / reasons I found out. *sung@comp.... is happy in NUS because he's treated very well I heard. Moreover, if he were to stay my present U, he can only be a "Teaching Consultant". The jobs scope for "Teaching Consultant" is primarily to teach. And I heard from others saying that it's hard to raise from TC to A/P, you only do things that normally professors do like to do; moreover, I see that some TC are quite bad, some have to teach 2 modules, with 1 module having 2 time slot, one for comp sci, one for comp eng. I think that's why he should feel quite happy, as he get a full 'xxx prefessor' title, having his own lab. Mr BLOG
